Force is a push or a pull, pressure is the force per area
Explanation:
A person stepping on a bed of nails is ok because the force of gravity is spread out over a large area, so low pressure.
A person stepping on one nail has the same force of gravity but it is in a small area, so larger pressure and he would not be safe
