Which word or words and punctuation best corrects any errors in the sentence?

It's too rainy to have our picnic however we could go to the movies.

    I would say C picnic; however,

    The reason why C is the right choice is because when you have two complete sentences that has a connector word like however you are supposed to have a semicolon before the connector word and then a comma that follows the connector word. That is the easiest way to explain the complicated rule. Good luck.
