Which answer properly corrects the phrase fragment in italics?

    C is the correct answer, because it is the only option which sounds natural. In A, semi colon (; ) is unnecessary. In the second example, there are two sentences, the first one is still a phrase fragment. D is not correct because of 'and', it is redundant.
