What does paris say is lord's capulet's motive for hurrying the weeding along?

    Paris believes that Lord Capulet wants to rush the wedding along in order to stop his daughter, Juliet, from being so sad. If she continues to do so, he believes that people will think she is odd for being so sad and upset and mourning Tybalt's death for such a long period of time.
