    The correct answer is D. D."Be careful!" he exclaimed. "That bridge is not stable!". When writing a direct quotes, the sentence inside the quotation marks should start with a capital letter. Also, when continuing the sentence after the quotation mark, the letter should not be capital unless it is a proper noun.
