    Because the owners do not know enough about the weather, the journey, and dogs, they mishandle their resources, and, as a result, many of the dogs die. They are overfed at first, and later they are not given enough food. Many of the dogs die of starvation or exhaustion because they have not been carefully and correctly cared for.
