Mrs. Flowers invited Maya to her house to have a conversation and explained that although Maya’s school work was fantastic, she need to talk. Mrs. flower discussed and stressed to Maya that spoken language is essential to life. After a while, Mrs. Flower sent Maya home with books expecting her to read then aloud.
