Why was unity so important during the drafting of the declaration of independence? Check any or all that apply

    Unity would be important during the drafting of the declaration of independence because without it the British redcoats could not be defeated, and also once they were defeated to have a viable nation unity would be required to be able to forge a new independent sovereign society able to hold it's own in the world.
