If it is a made up story but is grounded in reality. Ex. No unicorns, aliens, time travel, etc ...
Basically something that could happen in real life, but hasn't.

It includes factors that could occur in real life and are real life subjects. for example, the book tangerine is a realistic fiction novel. it is different from a fiction text because it does not include imaginary factors.
