In "Eavesdropping," how did author Eudora Welty foreshadow her eventual epiphany and writing style in the beginning of the book?

    Author eudora Welty described herself as a quiet introverted girl. she can't really communicate really well with other people, and she often eavesdropped other people's conservation in order to understand their behavior, and eavesdropping also became a way for her to get inspiration for her writing.
