Topography of the soil of the area

    Explanation:

It should be understood that the shape of the land of mountain or hilly region is sloppy, which makes it to be prone to erosion. This means that during the rainy season, the soil will be easily washed away by the running water.

It should be noted also that due to the rocky nature of the geographical area, it is difficult to build a motorable road, and if it is eventually built, it will be damaged in no time due to the effect of the running water during rainfall.

This situation is adversely affecting the farming in such type of geographical area, because there is no motorable road for the farmers to transport their farm produce to where it will be sold.

In this case, the only available or know means of transporting farm products is by carrying on the heads or backs, which is very tiring as well as energy and time consuming.
