Explain in your own words when you would include more than the author's name and page number in a parenthetical citation.

    One would add first names if there were multiple authors mentioned with the same surname. If there are many more authors one would add "et al." inside of the parentheses. If the name of the author is unknown then one would add the title of the work which is being cited.
