Hello,
When writing an expository paragraph, you are trying to explain or describe something. You are writing about a non-fiction subject, and you are giving the reader facts. You use evidence, not reasoning, to support a main idea. You are kind of writing a fact book about a certain subject. The paragraph could be about dogs, trains, books, etc. There is no limit to what you would or could write about. When writing your paragraph, use evidence and facts, not reasoning. You are informing them, not telling them your opinion or persuading them why they should do this or that. This is a book or paragraph about facts.
