Odysseus' greatest desire was to return to the arms of his two loves: Penelope (his wife) and Telemachos (his son).

    Explanation:

Ulysses had arrived in the land of the Phaeacians, whose king was Alkynus. By manipulation of the gods, Ulysses ended up being protected by Nausícaa, daughter of the king. Ulysses was received in the palace with the honors of a visitor. The slaves washed their hands and offered them drinks and food. Alkino, like all the Greeks at that time, every time he saw a foreigner he wondered if he was not one of the gods, and so he treated him very well. But Ulysses said that he was a mortal and that his greatest desire was to return home to be with his wife and son.
