Why does the Iroquois Constitution use symbols from nature to convey important ideas?

    The Iroquois Constitution (also known as the Great Law of Peace) was created for the tribal nations (Native American tribes). Therefore I conclude that it uses symbols from nature to convey important ideas because the Native Americans have a well known respect and reverence for nature.
