You and I is the correct answer because it is being polite and putting the other person before you.

You and I is the proper way of doing things. You're always supposed to put others before yourself! For example, if you have guests over - you tend to ask them if they're thirsty or if they're alright before you get your own drink - it's the polite way of doing things!
