    The correct sentence is B. The rain kept him and his friends inside all afternoon. A is incorrect because it should be Carrie and he (just change the order of the words into: He and Carrie are the two drummers in the band - and you'll see that using him is incorrect). C is incorrect because it should be we, not us. D is incorrect because it should be they, not them.
