C (teacher B), but unlike the first answer, a thesis can be anywhere in an essay. In analyzing essays it is usually in the intro, but in narratives and other essays it counts anywhere in the paper. (I'm in AP English in 11th grade and we went over this a few weeks ago)

Teacher "B" would be correct, a thesis statement is the beginning of an essay to inform readers of what the article is about. It should include: a hook, to catch the readers attention. At least two sentences on what position you stand with in the article, the topic of the essay, and to tell the reader what it's about.
