Mowgli's mastery and control of the fire represents B. his mastery and control over the animals of the jungle. The animals of the jungle fear the "red flower" and do not call it fire because only man can call it that as they do not fear it. When Mowgli learns how to use the fire, he brings it to the meeting and displays his power with the fire and makes all the animals respect him as new leader.
