I know I do t deserve to pass the test, but my car broke down on the way to school. Does the sentence present a sound or unsound argument

    I think it depends on why the person failed the test. Did they fail to study the material or were they late because of their car? It is not a good excuse if they are trying to get pity with the excuse of the car because they know they didn't study.
