In America, we speak highly of a separation of church and state. Was this separation made in The Crucible trials? Is this lack of separation still a problem in this country? Choose specific examples from real life and the play to support all claims.

    The separation of church wasn't apparent in The Crucible trails, they relied on a pastor to determine if someone was a "witch" or not and their beliefs led to the deaths of many. Today, we do not experience this and go by hard evidence and have fair trials to determine if someone is guilty of a crime.
