There are multiple different ways to lie to protect someone. For example, you can lie about an incident to get a friend out of trouble from their parents. If you are looking for a time where lying might save someone, you could lie about someone's schedule to get them out of a creepy situation. For example, if someone ask you or someone else to get into their car, you can lie and say that you have to go home right away or buy something at the store and if you are not done in time, your parents will get involved.
