The two love stories are connected by the curse that is related to the ghost of Mr Heron and Miss Daisy.

    Explanation:

The story "Sonata for Harp and Bicycle" is about two lovers who died in an office building and their ghosts used to revisit their office every night. The main characters Jason and Berenice devised a plan to reunite the two dead lover ghosts so that they will eventually find peace and maybe even leave the office space. The circumstances of their death was such that Mr William Heron and Miss Daisy Bell fell in love and meet up every night at the office building. But on the day that William was planning to propose, Daisy failed to show up, but not because she was not in love with him but rather she failed to wake up from her usual nap. Distraught, Mr Heron jumped from the fire escape along with the rose and bottle of wine that he had brought for the occasion. Thus began the haunting of the Grimes Building. When Jason knew of the details of the tragic story, he decided to make things right for the two lovers and devised a plan. And through this plan, Jason also reveals his feelings for his secretary Miss Golden and both took part in the plan. The curse that was upon whoever encountered the ghost turns out to be the connecting stream for the two lovers.
