    c. Ask the young men of the tribe their opinion.

    Explanation:

Chief Joseph was an indigenous resistance leader in the United States. He was chief of the Nez-Perce tribe and surrendered to his tribe after a long retreat. at the moment of his surrender he gave a moving speech in which he said that the chiefs of his tribe were dead and the youths were making the decisions. To know if he was telling the truth, Chief Joseph's enemies would have to ask the young men in the tribe what their opinion was about what Chief Joseph said.
