Which two details support the idea that the ostrich is the largest bird on the earth? Although ostriches are mainly herbivores, they sometimes eat locusts and other insects. Ostriches are found in the savannas and Sahel region of the African continent. When ostriches spread their wings, the wing span is around 7 feet. Many ostriches are as tall as or taller than professional basketball players.

    Many ostriches are as tall or taller than professional basketball players and when ostriches spread their wings the wing span is around 7 feet.

    because there is already proof that this animal is a very large bird with all the measurements. especially the wing span its telling you that its pretty big.
