In which sentence should the comma be changed to a semicolon? We hate to waste food, so we put all our kitchen scraps in the compost pile. The summer has been dry, yet water from the rain barrel has kept our garden green. Kayla prefers to plant flowers, but Kristin thinks they are a waste of space and resources. We spilled our vegetable seeds, now we have petunias growing in our beets.
