Musicians show an example of experience dependent plasticity. There is evidence that the auditory cortex can be reshaped through years of experience and musicians can distinguish differences in a sequence of notes sooner than non-musicians. Increased grey matter regions can also be found in musicians vs. non-musicians, which is essential for brain plasticity. ("Examples of Neuroplasticity in Cognitive Domains", 2014).
