what is your opinion on what marriage means to you? why is it important or why is it not?

My opinion is that marriage is an important and meaningful ceremony that symbolizes the bond between two individuals.

Explanation:

To me, marriage is an important act both spirtually and legally. Not only does marriage hold religious significance in the United States, but it is important legally, as it affects multiple legal processes. However, I also believe that marraige is very important socially, as it is a symbol of commitment between two individuals, something that can serve as a example for couples that are not yet wed.

In my opinion marriage isn't important. But that could be because my parents divorced because of me and I have a bad view on it
