Select the statements which describe William Tyndale's life. He believed that each person should be able to read the Bible in English. England was the place for him to work and publish his translations. He stood by his beliefs even though they led to his death. His goal was to translate both New and Old Testaments. He wanted to become a pastor of a church in Wittenberg, Germany.

    Wlliam Tyndale believed that each person should be able to read the Bible in their own language. He translated the New Testament from Greek into English, and also wanted to translate the Old Testament, but he was betrayed and executed for his beliefs, without finishing this project. Nevertheless, the work he had already accomplished served as a basis for future important translations.
