    It is a story of a kid named Martin and his Sioux Grandfather, Joe Iron Shell, who lives on a reservation. Martin is ashamed of his grandfather and tell many exaggerated stories to his friends about his grandfather and reservation to make it sound more glamorous. In the end of the story before his death, grandpa decides to pass on the Sioux heritage "The Medicine Bag" to Martin. So he calls Martin one night to his room and tells him about the great Teton Sioux and reservation. After receiving "The Medicine Bag" from his grandpa, Martin begins to connect with his Sioux Heritage.
