What is the most important function of a leader within an organization?

building consensus

motivating others

inspiring others

Is there an all of the above answer? I mean, a leader should do all of those things. However, I would say building consensus (as to avoid conflict or disturbances). Motivating others and inspiring others are virtually the same thing and people should be able to do that within themselves, so I don't believe it could be either of those.
