In this day entry Zlata describes people leaving and crowding the airport, train and bus stations. Zlata says she's afraid to even say what is going to happen, "there's going to be a BOOM-BOOM, BANG-BANG, CRASH Sarajevo ... they're going to bomb Sarajevo." Whit this entry readers can predict they are living Sarajevo. When Zlata hears that a shell that fell near her house wounded several of her neighbors and killed Nina, a fellow student, Zlata feels that she can't stand it anymore.
