Why does the author compare learning to read shakespeare with learning to ride a bike

    At first it's tricky but by doing it over and over again you get the hang of it/you have a better understanding.

    The author is using both of these comparisons to express the idea that, when learning to do something new it's difficult at first until you understand the activity or topic better.
