I think the correct answer should be A. A pie graph that shows the number of divorces that occurred between the years 2005 and 2012.

This pie chart will show the number of marriages before 2008 when The Great Recession happened, and after 2008 when there was an obvious decline in the number of marriages exactly because of that recession. The other options do not show such a difference.
