Can someone explain the difference between mitosis and meiosis?

    Both mitosis and meiosis are processes of celular division. While mitosis is associated with no sexual cells, meiosis is associated with sexual cells. While mitosis originates two identical cells, with the same number of chromosomes, meiosis originates four cells each with half chromosomes than the mother cell.
