A rubric does not follow the way in which a writer follows the writing process. A person that is writing a paper can be writing in their own style and skipping around, for example, a person that is taking a test might skip around to answers that they already know so they are not spending to much time on one answer. The rubric will not be able to determine that the steps and orders of the writing process of a writer (author).
