    People move en masse means the movement of people in huge masses from one place to another.

    Explanation:

    With the development of many inventions and innovations, there were ways with which people could be moved from one place to the other place. There were railroad, locomotives which were used to move people from one place to the other.

    The people moved because of the search of good employment opportunities and to find good quality of life for themselves. They used to travel for having to fulfill their needs and increase their standards of living.
