The comparison is made because as a conventional highway that takes to many different places and towns, the information superhighway opens up new destinations in information and knowledge, previously unavailable to many people. The possibility that humans have today of connecting immediately with the entire world and have access to any kind of information in a matter of seconds is unbelievable. It really has no limits or frontiers.
