Why is it ironic that the animals train for and unite in battle against the neighboring farmers?

The farmers have food that the animals want but, even after winning the fight, the animals don't get it.

The animals win the fight for freedom from humans, only to later lose their freedom to other animals.

The farmers win the battle and control the farm.

The animals win freedom in a fair and just society.
