descriptive adjectives are the type of adjective that are used to express the size, color, or shape of a noun.

= small, pink, round, ...

Possessive adjectives show possession: something belongs to somebody

= my/your/his/her/its/our/their ...

Example:

My pink sweater is over there.

My = possessive adj.

pink = descriptive adj.

sweater = noun
