Which of the following sentences uses a semicolon correctly? (A) We were going to go to the park; but it's raining. (B) Instead, I went to the park alone; Robin stayed home to practice the violin. (C) When I got to the park I nearly tripped on three things; the concrete, a deflated basketball, and a pile of dead worms. (D) I kicked the basketball out of my way and stormed off to the jungle gym; my hair and coat sopping wet. (E) Going to the park alone is no fun; especially in the rain.

    I'm pretty sure it's B. The others seem like they can use a colon or a comma instead of a semicolon.
