Whats is globalization and how is it playing a significant role in our lives?

Globalization is mainly an economic process, but it also affects, normally positively, cultural aspects. It is a process by which most countries in the world, for not saying all, interact an exchange goods, technology, ideals, and pretty much everything that is present in every country's culture. It is supposed that each country has independence and free will of actions, but that is just a concept because in reality, each country's decision depends greatly on how it would affect the course of actions intertwined with other countries. In other words, whatever a country decides to do in their territory needs to be thought in terms of how it would benefit or affect their business partners in other countries.

For the better or the worse, we live in a world where every country's action is instilled by other countries' decisions and actions. Globalization is playing quite a significant role in our lives because we are no longer masters of our decisions, most of the time even without noticing it; we take choices based on somebody else's results. We like what other people in other country have, sometimes we prefer other countries' culture, food, music, clothing more than our cultures' items.

We no longer "live" our lives due to globalization, how it is a positive or negative thing, time will tell. For now, let us just enjoy it.
