The gravitational force is responsible for the attraction between objects that possess mass. So, why is it that when you're on a date, you're unable to automatically attract your date?

Answer: Due to the mass not being sufficiently large to produce a sufficiently strong gravitational force

Explanation: According to Newton's law of gravity, any body that has mass can, by force of gravity, attract another body that also has mass. In doing so, every body that has mass also feels an attractive force of gravity from another body.

However, when dealing with bodies of relatively low mass compared to the mass of celestial bodies, or with the mass of Earth, they cannot produce sufficient attractive force based on their mass. So any object that we let out of our hands will fall, attracted by Earth's gravity, and we know that Earth has a large mass, and has a sufficiently large force of gravity. That was the case with the apple that fell next to Newton on Earth. On the other hand, any object does not have a sufficiently large mass, consequently does not have a sufficiently large force of gravity to draw the Earth towards itself. The Sun can do as well as it does.

So it is with humans, no matter how much they want to automatically attract their date, they do not have enough mass, so also a gravitational force, for something like that. Instead, they will have to use an attracting force of charm or some good and exciting story to achieve it, though not automatically, but over time, but it's more interesting.
