The events of the first act suggest that the ghost of Hamlet's father is real.

    Explanation:

Hamlet was written by Shakespeare and tells the story of the Prince of Denmark, Hamlet.

Prince Hamlet had his father, the king of Denmark, murdered by his own brother, who came to the throne soon after. In the first act it is possible to witness that the ghost of Hamlet's father appears sometimes. Many people may think that this ghost is the brainchild of Hamlet, however, the events of the first act show that the ghost is real.

First, the ghost was not seen only by Hamlet, since that ghost first appeared to the sentinel Horacio, who was a great friend of Hamlet. When Horacio saw the ghost and witnessed his resemblance to the late king, he ran to call Hamlet, so that he too could see the ghost.

Another event that proves that the ghost is real, is the conversation he has, right after Hamlet sees him. The ghost tells Hamlet how he was murdered by his own brother and asks Hamlet to avenge his death. hamlet, did not know that his father had been murdered, which proves that the ghost is real.
