    The answer is D: tiredness.

In this excerpt taken from Frankenstein, by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, the author makes use of the word languor meaning tiredness, exhaustion, weariness. In the excerpt there is a somber tone, befitting of this very famous Gothic novel, and clearly what is being expressed relates to a depressed bodily state.
