Which proper noun should be capitalized in the sentence below?

My friend is taking a class at the local community collage to learn French.

    Proper nouns are names of people, places, institutions, nations, languages, etc. Having that in mind, the proper noun that should be capitalized in this sentence is only C. French, because it is the name of a language. There is no reason why you should capitalize class, and B is also incorrect because the local community college is not the actual name of this college.
