    C. Apollo

    Explanation:

Priest Chryses came to Agamemnon wanting to redeem his daughter, whom Agamemnon took as her mistress. Agamemnon refuses to bring his daughter back to Christ and Chris goes to Apollo in tears. He promises to build him a temple if he punishes the Achaeans. Apollo obeys Chryses and starts shooting at animals first and then people. The arrows fell on the Achaeans for nine days, and whoever was struck by the arrow would be afflicted with the plague.
