    The original sentence is definitely not correct the way it was written. It would mean that Mrs. Saint-Clair was served on paper planes due to the first phrase (served on paper planes) being placed incorrectly in the sentence. The other sentence means that the children were served on paper planes, which is also obviously incorrect.
