    D) as based on this quotation the writer appears to be very much against the idea that the pyramids are mysterious as he belittles the people who believe that the pyramids are mysterious. he is attempting to to discredit the other writers and persuade the reader that the pyramids are not mysterious at all and anyone who says otherwise is silly
