Read the short story. Lynn, Sarah, and Keanna have been friends for over three years. Because they are all good singers, their high school chorus director has entered them into a local singing competition. The winner of the contest will advance to a state competition and have the opportunity to sing on television. All of the girls think that would be really exciting. Which conclusion would readers find most satisfying? Keanna wins the contest, and Lynn and Sarah get mad at her. The girls decide they do not want to compete against each other and they all drop out. The organizers of the contest put them together as a group and they win together. None of the girls wins the contest, and they decide to quit the chorus.

I feel as though this would all depend on whoever is reading it but since most people want a happy ending, I think reads would more prefer that the organizers of the contest put them together as a group and they win together.
